Melody likes to draw, bake, and read, if a book can hold her attention long enough. If she isn't binging her favorite comfort shows again, she will be with her friends and eating Kraft mac and cheese. She is also in the theatre tech crew and the student store.

Apart from writing, Rose enjoys reading, singing, and playing the guitar in her free time. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 59:16. She hopes you can experience God's glory through the beauty of writing while reading Aperture.

Libby Park (’25)

Libby's favorite hobbies are reading books, collecting books, and cuddling with her dog and guinea pig. She also enjoys playing golf, which is sometimes the only reason she goes outside.

Anika likes digital art, video games, music, and animated shows and movies. She also plays tennis inside of school and does dance outside of school.

Writer

Sophia loves music and expresses this through playing the bass guitar and listening to music. She also enjoys acting, watching movies, and hanging out with her friends. :)

Audrey Wang (’27)

Audrey enjoys writing, art, cinematography, baking, hanging out with friends, and rearranging her room so many times she's lost count!! (Also, eating instant ramen at unreasonably late hours.) She would also like everyone to know that if anyone has a spare reptile, she's always wanted one as a pet.

I am an enthusiastic Sevvie who likes to be known for his cleverness and diligence. I am capable of doing good work for the love of my fellow man and for God. I hope my work with Aperture will show off TKA at its best.

Julianne Ma (’24)

Zachary Zhang (’24)

Zachary loves, with a very strong passion, philosophy, science, game design, music, and especially literature—all kinds of literature. Though, Zach sees that each person is so unique, that if you tried writing about them deeply enough, words would begin to twist and fall off the pages of the book. And yet, he has written much about them in short stories, poems, and is currently authoring his very own novel series, The Redemption of Invynceth.

Rachelle Wong (’24)

Rachelle loves to read, write poetry, and play with her way-too-big dog. In her spare time, she can often be found listening to musicals while cross-stitching or doing puzzles.

Yuna Ham (’23)

Yuna tries to avoid passive voice in her writing because her AP Lang teacher says no. So yeah. She loves the sound of typing and the word “cork”.

Mike Nguyen (’23)

Andrea is currently in her D&D phase.

Abby Kong (’22)

Abby is often found doing photography, hanging out friends, or playing sports. She particularly loves to take photos of nature as well as her beloved dog, Momo.

Grace Wong (’22)

Grace likes to bring a (usually historical fiction) book with her wherever she goes. If she's not reading or texting her friends about homework and life, she's probably playing the piano or Chinese harp. She's often distracted by another idea for a creative writing project and also enjoys hand lettering, watching musicals, and drinking boba.
