Hey, it’s me.

I haven't seen you in almost two years now, how've you been?

Thanks for the pin you gave me the last time I visited, I wear it all the time and bought a necklace to match.

Recently I found an old photo of us laughing together in the kitchen from 2019, I remember having so much fun on that trip, especially eating all your cooking.

I loved waking up every day to a bowl of chocolate “with pan y una cuchara”, It’s always been my favorite, and I’ve finally realized adding cheese makes it so much better.

I loved being in your house and exploring, looking through your old things, and playing with the Rebecca toy.

Thanks for always being willing to care for me, like when I got sick on the trip or when I was stung by wasps.

Thanks for still talking to me when I was visiting even though speaking Spanish was (and still is) hard for me.

I’m trying to learn to speak it though, someday I hope we can have a full conversation.

There were so many things I wish I had talked to you about on that trip, so many questions I wish I could've asked you.

Do you still have the green sweater from that old picture?

You look so beautiful in it, I’d love to borrow it sometime.

Maybe I’ll visit your old house someday before you move.

Don’t worry though, the old place will be fine and I’m sure you’ll love your new home.

I heard it’s an amazing place in the sky, a home that stays forever.

When I get there too, can I borrow your green sweater?

Say hi to everybody for me, I’ll come join you someday soon.

Bye for now Abueltia Dora, I really miss you. 🤍🕊️
